　 迪拜的Burj Al-Arab酒店(burj音译泊瓷，又称阿拉伯塔)。

迪拜是阿拉伯联合酋长国的第二大城市。20世纪50年代，它还是阿拉伯湾一个朴素的海滨小镇，到了90年代以后，迪拜发生了脱胎换骨的变化。鳞次栉比的摩天大楼在霍尔河畔奇迹般地崛起，让人以为自己仿佛到了纽约。 像其它中东城市一样，迪拜因石油而富庶。但对一个雄心勃勃想在新世纪大展身手的新兴城市来说，石油当然不是全部。它打开了大门，大力发展旅游业。由于拥有高素质的环境以及丰富多彩的文化(因为80%的人口是外国人的缘故)，到迪拜的旅游者以模特、艺术家、商人等高收入阶层居多。在迪拜王储的提议之下，知名企业家Al-Maktoum 投资兴建了美仑美奂的Burj Al-Arab酒店。
